About LSource

Inspection results you can rely on.

LSource provides third-party inspection (TPI) and vendor surveillance services across the oil & gas, power generation, and heavy industry sectors — principally in support of complex, multi-tier supply chains. Clients rely on our inspection results, reports, and certifications to make decisions about the acceptance, release, and safety of equipment and materials.

We align our practices with the principles of ISO/IEC 17020 (requirements for bodies performing inspection) and ISO 9001, applying them consistently across in-house and subcontracted inspection resources — and we treat impartiality as a condition of engagement for every inspector who represents LSource on a client or vendor site.

"Commercial or scheduling pressure must never be permitted to override an inspector's technical judgement on conformance."

Every inspector we assign holds the obligation to reject nonconforming work, place a hold on release, or decline to sign a document the inspector cannot support. No prior approval is needed. That right is written into our Quality Policy, not left to individual discretion.

What We Do

Four service pillars, built around the way EPC supply chains actually work.

Mechanical and electrical scopes are staffed and reported as separate specialist tracks, not one generalist checklist — because the acceptance criteria, standards, and hold points rarely overlap.

Mechanical inspection

Mechanical Inspections

Pre-shipment and in-process inspection of mechanical equipment, pressure vessels, piping, structural fabrication, and rotating machinery.

  • Witness & hold points
  • Dimensional checks
  • NDE witnessing (UT, MPI, MFL, VT, PT)
  • Documentation review against ITPs
Electrical inspection

Electrical & Control Inspections

Factory acceptance testing and in-process inspection of electrical panels, switchgear, field instrumentation, and control systems.

  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Cable management & termination checks
  • ITP review & punch list management
  • Compliance verification

Expediting

Active monitoring of supplier delivery schedules to flag delays early and drive on-time delivery — built for EPC contractors and project procurement teams.

Supplier Audits

Structured assessment of supplier quality management systems, welding and production standards, and compliance with client-specific requirements.
